SugarHouse Casino is located in Pennsylvania on its eastern border with New Jersey, right on the edge of the Delaware river. SugarHouse gets its name because it sits on the site of the former Jack Frost Sugar Refinery. Online gaming
As of August, 2024, Sugarhouse Casino hasn’t entered Pennsylvania’s nascent online gaming market, but it shouldn’t be long until they do. They have already applied for the state’s $10 million license that allows online slots, table games, and peer-to-peer gaming (geek-speak for online poker). It is expected that they will use their in-house tech company Rush Street Interactive to create and manage their online slots and table game offerings. Who Sugarhouse will partner with to enter the online poker market is unknown at this time.
