MLB Divisional Odds From DraftKings
White Sox +285
Red Sox +800
Blue Jays +2700
AL Central Divisional Pick
The AL Central should be one of the most competitive divisions in baseball for the 2020 season. The Twins are the current favorites to win the division, but the Indians and White Sox are a close second and third on paper. For many baseball bettors, we consider roster strength more than anything when choosing a good futures pick. For the 2020 season, we must also consider the shortened season (60 games) and how a hot start can be insurmountable and a slow start can be damning. For this reason, I like the White Sox at +285. I think the White Sox will benefit from having such a young team with little MLB time. Opposing pitchers haven’t seen much of some of their promising, up and coming batters and opposing batters haven’t seen a lot from their young and talented pitchers.
